One of the perks of working in the home office has been really good tickets to the Kansas City Royals games. We have watched a number of games from the company suite, we took Kaitlyn and a friend to a game for her birthday and sat about 12 rows up behind home plate, and then our favorite spot to watch the game is in the Crown seats. They are on the second row, 2 seats in from the dugout! Shaun took me (and Ashley) to a game on Memorial day. I thought the suite was nice, these seats are amazing! Not only do you have great view of the game, but they are cushioned seats, you have a buffet restaurant to eat in, and you have a server that brings whatever you want out to you, during the game! The Memorial day game was against the Anaheim Angels. We called my parents during the game and got to wave to them all the way in So. Cal! They loved seeing us on TV (especially Ashley)! These tickets are highly sought after and we were very surprised to be offered them again last Saturday! Shaun took the boys this time for a little father and sons outing! They were in heaven! Before the game, Tyler got a ball autographed and Eric got his mit autographed. During the game, one of the players who was up to bat next, caught a foul ball and reached around the net to toss it to Eric! Tyler loved drinking all the "rootberry" he wanted and eating popcorn and ice cream! He was also adored by everyone sitting around them! Eric loved getting a game ball and dancing on camera which was shown on the jumbotron screen! They couldn't have asked for a more memorable experience (except maybe the royals winning. Minnesota won, which I guess isn't all that bad, considering they will be our team, soon)! The girls and I had a great evening as well. We got some shopping in, dinner at a chinese restaurant, painted our toe nails, and watched Tangled (which I had never seen).
