The Stockings were hung...

I love all of the traditions that come with celebrating Christmas! Our Christmas eve traditions include a delicious meal of clam chowder and clam fritters, opening a gift of new pajamas, Shaun reading the story of the birth of Jesus from the New Testament and then reading Twas the Night Before Christmas, followed by hanging our stockings and going to bed! This year, while Shaun was reading from the Bible, we heard a knocking noise in our chimney! We don't know for sure, but we didn't want to take any chances in missing Santa, so we quickly finished reading, hung our stockings and went straight to bed! I love how the kids can fall asleep so quickly on Christmas Eve! Why can't they do that every night?
